This educates visitors about the culture of the Rukai people while admiring butterflies. This year, the Butterfly Protection Market is being held in Maolin Ecological Park, and local indigenous stores in Maolin are invited to exhibit and sell handicraft works, cuisine etc. Indigenous music groups will perform and free DIY experience courses are also offered.
