Austronesian Market Party

  • Content|The market invites Pingtung's local indigenous settlement special food, cultural and creative handicrafts, and each session also has wedding special cultural experience activities and consumption points to get stickers, friends who are interested in Paiwan ethnic weddings, you must not miss the Austronesian Market Party!

11:00-17:00 Austronesian Market Recruit operators with local characteristics from three indigenous villages in Northern Pingtung and hold an open-air market party. The booth includes cultural and creative products, planting and gardening items, snacks, beverages, local cuisine and much more.
11:00-17:00 Loyalty card activity Obtain a point card from the service counter at the market event. After making purchases at six market operators visitors receive a limited edition "Austronesian Good Stickers" from the market service counter (the number of stickers is limited for each session)
11:00-12:00 Austronesian Concert Austronesian Good Music invites local performance groups at each event. Everyone is welcome to attend and share in the experience.
11:00-17:00 Paiwan wedding procedure Visitors sign in with staff at the market event, complete a puzzle of the event flow for the traditional Paiwan wedding and receive an Austronesian give away
13:30-14:00 Paiwan zemiyan activity During the event, under the venue swing, the on-site host teaches visitors the four-step dance around a circle with live music, enabling them to experience traditional Paiwan culture first hand. Participants also receive an Austronesian give away.
15:30-16:00 Paiwan bear bride activity Visitors sign in with staff during the event and finish the dance around the swing within the assigned time period. All participants receive an Austronesian give away.

  • Content|The exhibition plans to present the traditional wedding costume collection of the Paiwan people, and invites the leaders of the Paiwan tribe in Pingtung and the modern clothing studio to jointly exhibit and show the recent inheritance and reform process of Paiwan's traditional craftsmanship from restoration, reproduction, creation, return, inheritance and innovation.
